Plain-English summary: we collect the email you give us for the waitlist, any message you send us, and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics about how the site is used. We don't sell your data, we don't run advertising trackers, and the site sets no tracking cookies.

What we collect, and why

  • Waitlist sign-up: your email address, and optionally your Shopify store URL. We use it only to contact you about the StorePilot launch and founding offer. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Messages: if you message us via the chat widget or contact form, we keep what you send so we can reply.
  • Cookieless analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. These are designed to be privacy-friendly: they do not use cookies and do not build a personal profile of you.
  • Server logs: like most sites, our host records standard technical logs (e.g. IP address, browser) for security and reliability.

The StorePilot app (when you install it)

This policy covers this marketing website. When the StorePilot app is installed on a Shopify store, it observes shopper behavior through consent-aware, sandboxed Web Pixels to detect conversion friction. That data is de-identified and used to generate recommendations and tests for that store. Full app data terms are provided at install and in the Shopify App Store listing.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless. If we ever add cookie-based tools, we'll ask for consent first.

Who we share data with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that run the site (our hosting/analytics provider, Vercel, and the tools we use to store waitlist sign-ups and reply to messages), and only as needed to operate the service.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to stop emailing you, at any time. Just email hello@usestorepilot.com. If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
